Now more than ever, we all must play it safe after Covid-19. As well-trained nail technicians, we’ve always worn masks and gloves, staying true to safety standards from day one. We follow strict California State Board regulated sanitation laws and safety precautions. At BPLA, we bring our clients a more personal experience, taking only 1-2 clients at a time. Our private nail salon is the safest space for your self care services. We ask that clients also wear their masks while receiving services ensuring no one is encouraged to touch their face among other precautions.

The tools we use are carefully sanitized and sterilized after each and every client. After thoroughly scrubbing nail implements with soap and water, we are then required by State Board to use the hospital grade disinfectant Barbicide (strong enough to kill COVID-19, HIV, HEPATITIS B AND C). After the disinfectant process has completed, we then place all tools used in an auto clave to sterilize with heat. We take sanitation and sterilization extremely seriously. After clients have left, we are sure to thoroughly wipe down client seating stations with disinfectant wipes.

Unlike many nail salons, at BPLA you will not be sitting in a space full of customers coming in and out. Our studio ensures this. Not only do we want our clients to feel comfortable, our highest mission is for you to trust that you are in the best of care and that you are in good hands. Please read our guidelines below carefully before booking services. No matter how many precautions taken, no service is 100% safe from Covid-19 and you must be aware of putting yourself at risk of being exposed to or unknowingly spreading this virus.

Health & Safety Guidelines

These guidelines must be practiced in order to receive services

We do not advise pregnant women to book services if practicing strict safety precautions as no service is 100% safe from contracting Covid-19.

We will not service anyone who arrives to their appointment appearing sick, has a runny nose or cough of any sort, zero exceptions. If questionable, clients temperature will be taken.

Clients must arrive with and wear mask during entire duration of visit. Mask must come above nose and below lips to ensure full coverage for entire duration of visit, zero exceptions.

Clients are required to let your nail tech know if you are allergic to latex at booking (add to notes) and prior to appointment start.

Clients are required to wash hands with soap and water for 25 seconds in BPLA nail studio sink upon arrival once removing purse, jacket, keys, scarves, and or any other items and directly before services are to begin.

Zero touching of nail polishes. Sanitized color swatches will be provided.

Contactless payment only, gratuity included.

We do not accept ANY cash payments for any services or gratuity, zero acceptions.

Please book with card you intend to pay with for service.

You also will have the option to pay with Venmo, Cashapp, or Paypal.

Zero exceptions of said guidelines as this is a sign of respect to both your nail techs and fellow customers to protect each other and our community from any further virus spread.
